Community and School-Based Programs
These programs bring mental health services and education directly to local communities and schools. By partnering with educational institutions and community organizations, we offer targeted interventions, psychoeducation, and resources to support students, families, and community members.
School-Based Behavioral Health Program
Our School-Based Behavioral Health Program supports the social-emotional and mental health needs of students from early childhood through high school, emphasizing culturally responsive care. We offer bilingual, bicultural services in Haitian Creole, Spanish, and Portuguese, ensuring that students and families receive support in their preferred language and cultural context. Mental health literacy and wellness education.
Mental Health Literacy and Wellness Education
We offer community-based psychoeducation in settings such as family shelters, after-school programs, adult day programs, and other community venues to promote mental well-being. These sessions are provided in Haitian Creole and Spanish as well, ensuring inclusivity and language accessibility. Topics include the differences between mental illness and mental health, strategies for cultivating positive mental health, and guidance on accessing professional care when needed. By making this information readily available in culturally and linguistically responsive formats, we empower individuals to recognize early signs of mental distress, reduce stigma, and take proactive steps toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
